CSMS is a not for profit society registered in New Delhi with action areas targeted anywhere in India. It has been given exemption from payment of Income Tax, under section 80 G and 12 A of the Income Tax Act, by Income Tax Authorities. The society strives to work for social and management solutions in the sphere of activities in Public/Private Sectors, Autonomous Organizations, NGOs and local bodies, individuals etc. Affirmative Action, Community Empowerment, Gender Mainstreaming, Healthcare issues, Public Sector Policy and Management, Training and Capacity Building; and Public Financial Management our thrust areas. Besides working on specific projects, the Centre expects to act as a think-tank for providing policy support to the needy organizations/institutions.

The intent is to earn money through donations, contribution; and management consulting; and plough it to the social and socially relevant issues; like free or nominal cost based healthcare support for the weaker sections of the society and rural areas; free legal aid, and other socially important issues. We have organized advocacy, campaigns and camps in healthcare and life-skills development in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. In our camps our volunteers help the people (mostly rural with no regular awareness and access to healthcare) with clinical and preventive healthcare awareness and simple solutions. Alternative and life-style based healthcare advice is offered. We are now in the thick of activity to address the advocacy and awareness issues through the adolescents and schools. Funding arrangements are being proposed by our members for this very important approach through government or any development partners.
